With the release of the Christmas Update, many balancing changes have occured, Some of them have been summarized below.
TMF has been crunched
So has Abby
Ranger is now viable.
Lionheart is somewhat better
Red Hood got a gimmick
So did Andrea
Firefighter got debuffed [despite him not being a good unit]
New Skins
Just Updated
-The return of Pumpkin Zombie (and Pumpkin Runner), they now give 1 pumpkin when killed and for some reasons ignore the pumpkin cap
-Build up fear the further you go till eventually everyone is afflicted to fear, either you need to prepare more Valor/Charisma or pray that your unit don't just stand there
Any of you guy have a xapk file for dead ahead quarantine?
I was just equipping the Lone Wold set on my private Rodrigues and as i was looking at the stats i started to wonder how does the game apply damage calculations as i dont know how it does it for example does it take the current total damage value of the unit? for example my private Rodrigues has 100 total damage 24 base damage and 76 added item damage with the Lone Wolf set and i though what does the game do to calculate the damage? does it: add the base and item damage and then add 50%, or does it apply it only to the base damage so: ((24+50%)+76), or does it (24+76)+50% i was wondering because his damage seems to change every mission so i was confused about that so if anyone can answer me i will be grateful
I have not finished the final level....
The problem is you can't cheese it anymore.....
You know that Polina strat involving the Patriot? Well, it's pretty hard to convert that win.
I think you can't speedrun the game anymore.
I used to be able to beat speedrun it within 17 days, but this prevented that.
OKAY OKAY OKAY
So basically I just cleared the location 7 map.
Only location 8 is left now here are some points:
I farmed location 1 legendary supply run for lucky and military set and hunter sets
Farmed Location 2 for gambler set
Currently farming location 6 for legendary lucky sets
Now you will ask me...why?
WELL ITS FOR LOCATION 8 BECAUSE EVERYONE FREAKING ONE SHOTS THERE.
My Private Rodriguez currently has gambler set, and I have tested it in all locations. It works wonderfully in Locations 6 and below, but having a melee in location 7 just won't do anything but become a meatshield. Location 8 is where things get really nasty, having a Gambler set in location 8 is just useless since the condition will never get triggered SO INSTEAD I'M REPLACING IT WITH LUCKY SET.
Anyways I'm close to figuring out the most efficient way to beat this game. I'm also farming Supply Run coins in location 6 to upgrade bus in weekdays!
Day 1: I fully cleared all levels from location 1 to location 4 quite easily
Day 2: It gets slower but I am now stuck at the greatest curve Location 6.
I will explain my progression tree for the item sets and which locations I farmed....
Day1:
I can only farm Location 1 Easy
Day 2:
I can only farm location 1 Normal to farm lucky guy items. I got Charlotte already.
Day 3:
I can farm Location 1 Hard to gain Hunter set items (which will be very important)
Honestly just testing my data logs on how easy this game should be easy to beat.
Patriot - Need someone to die to get 5% more damage bonus, but hey that's really generous not gonna lie. Sniper Polina 500% one shot Boss lets go (could have done it with Charlotte too ngl)
Big Boy - big boy, more like big shit, wtf is this, useless absolutely useless. 5% bonus for every 150 health, bro bro bro, what the fuck is this. It's worse than Swissmade which offers 17% bonus. Only units who can take advantage of it this are heavy hitters SINCE PRACTICALLY MOST UNITS DON'T EVEN HAVE 600 HEALTH.
Scout - it's okay ngl, it provides a 1 point shield, this is just to negate damage. But most of the time it finds a hard time to use, it's pretty OP in skirmish with Carol but in other occasions it finds hard usage on bulky enemies.
Gambler - Crit rate go brrrr, and you know how fucking good crit rate is because a lot of good units like Rogue and Rodriguez needs crit rate to activate their special knockback abilities that involves having a higher crit rate to trigger often. You need less than 70% health though but lots of levels from Location 6 and below will be generous enough to make you survive long enough to trigger that bonus. Location 7 and Location 8 are a hell hole but it's not the sets fault.
Lucky Guy - this guys makes your one life be able to last longer, you basically survive a lethal attack once. There are tons of enemies that can do lethal attacks, lethal explosions, this is just one of the very few that provides a solution. A shield would offer the same thing but Lucky Guy guarantees you to tank a damage once, this is very useful in Skirmish against one shot type ranged units like Polina or Charlotte. The one who can abuse this is Glenn who can literally take 6 lethal shots practically with his special.
Using Glenn in the beginning stage of stage 8 can be a lifesaver if he is fully maxed out, Glenn is practically the only unit in the game that can deal an enormous amount of damage by the entirety of a "level" without even being a ranged unit.
Dont know what to get for Diaz (I hasn't opened the supply run in area 8 so I cannot get hunter set, also currently using Tactical set) and for Private Rodriguez (rn I'm using the scout set on him)

I was trying to get this image in png and in the right format, but i dont know how to do it. if anyone can help me pls
Obs: its for a template like a stub
The first 25 bonus damage you get is from your base charisma (150) and since it doesn't depend on any items it's applied to your base damage stat.
Any extra amount of charisma that you can get is through items and because of that the damage is applied to the extra damage stat. It was hard to notice since all my charisma items also give flat and percentage bonus damage.
Yeah Sath thinks this is what happens.
While doing some supply, I do using the nitrogen to slow the sphere down and not only that it seem to be stand still for so long when my turbo comes close, long enough for her to kill it, can you explain it?
